Fire Safety at Work
Organisational fire safety for companies in Berlin – training of fire safety assistants, fire safety regulations, evacuation drills and instruction in accordance with ArbSchG and ASR A2.2.
Fire is one of the few risks that can end a business from one day to the next. We make sure your company is prepared – organisationally, in a legally compliant way, and without you having to work through the regulations yourself.
Your duty under ArbSchG & ASR A2.2
Every employer must take precautions against fire and appoint and train a sufficient number of Brandschutzhelfer (fire safety assistants) (§ 10 ArbSchG – the German Occupational Safety and Health Act, specified by ASR A2.2, the technical rule for workplaces on measures against fire). The rule of thumb is 5 % of the workforce – more where the fire hazard is elevated.
What we take off your hands
- Training of Brandschutzhelfer (fire safety assistants) – theory plus a practical extinguishing exercise
- Drawing up and updating the Brandschutzordnung (fire safety regulations, parts A, B, C per DIN 14096)
- Fire safety instruction for your staff – on site or online
- Risk assessment focused on fire hazard
- Planning and support of evacuation drills
- Advice on escape and rescue routes, signage and fire extinguishers
The three levels of fire safety
Fire safety is more than an extinguisher on the wall. We start where you, as the employer, carry the legal duty.
We support you with
- organisational fire safety (responsibilities, procedures, instruction)
- active fire safety (extinguishing equipment, drills, first response)
- the interplay with the structural fire safety of your building
The result for your company
- appointed, trained Brandschutzhelfer (fire safety assistants)
- an up-to-date Brandschutzordnung and escape route plans
- documented instruction – audit-proof towards authorities and insurers
- staff who know what to do in an emergency
The path to a safe workplace
