What exactly is occupational medicine?

Occupational medicine looks at working people holistically and integrates new scientific findings and methods from a range of disciplines. Its main goal: to maintain and promote the physical and mental health and the performance of employees.

Company physicians play a central role in maintaining the health and performance of employees. They detect work-related illnesses, carry out check-ups and workplace inspections, and support the development of company first aid, health management and BEM (Betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement — the legally required workplace reintegration process).

Health check-ups

Occupational medical check-ups focus on work-specific risks — individual risks often remain unaddressed. Our health check-ups provide a comprehensive analysis of your individual health status and risk profile, so that illnesses can be detected and treated early (primary prevention).
